Operation of a Quantum Free Electron Laser (QFEL) could provide compact and fully coherent source X- γ-rays. Imperative to experimental realization is allowing for decoherence effects either spontaneous emission or space-charge take place, having opposing constraints. Here, the first time, we present one-dimensional QFEL Wigner model that includes longitudinal by quantizing periodic potential derived from Fourier components electron beam density. The used investigate steady-state gain momentum state dynamics variety regimes. We find increased saturation lengths lower intensity as result attenuated transitions in two-level quantum system. In addition, characterize regime where specific outside bandwidth are targeted, such conventional description breaks down. These findings serve consistent theoretical extension existing models.
